Hello,

I’m so glad you’re here! As I officially launch AWS, my website and my brand today I thought I’d share the why behind the name! Let’s start from the beginning, my legal name is Allison Nicole Wolfe. Growing up I started going by Allie in third grade when I learned to write cursive, I loved the way the e looked and was determined to have it in my first name! Now, I go by Allie to most people. As we neared our wedding in 2021 I knew I wanted to take Skinner as my last name, it’s important to both my husband and I but I also knew I didn’t want to leave my maiden name behind. Wolfe holds such a special place in my heart. It reminds me daily of my grandparents, who I miss dearly. With only one person in our family who has the possibility to carry the Wolfe name in their family, it was something I couldn’t part with! My mom also chose to drop her middle name and changed it to her maiden name, so I am following suit!

AWS in the short form came about from my other grandparents, Mickey and Bob Angell, who have always had their initials on their license plates. When I was younger I didn’t know what it meant, but assumed the MPA on the back of my Mimi’s car stood for Mimi + Papa Angela. It wasn’t until years later I came to find out it was her initials. I have followed in their path and took AWS to my license plate too! When I grow up, officially, I want to be just like them.

I’ve spent the last 4 years dreaming about building a brand, a space online where I can share my thoughts, experiences, and passions! I am so happy to finally launch this into the universe! Thank you for being along for the ride!
